Herman Maurice Levitz, a leader in school and city planning—a man interested in recreation and in serving his community. He passed away in 1967, leaving a 105-acre tract of land. In 1977, his widow donated her ownership of this land so that her community could benefit from it as a park.

H. M. Levitz Memorial Park is located 3/4 miles west of Indiantown Gap Military Reservation just off Route 443 along the south side of Park Drive. The Park is home to a Rustic Lodge, 3 picnic pavilions, Omni Stone Trail, Nature trails, Bird Sanctuary, volley ball, tennis courts, softball field, playground and a basketball court. The Rustic Lodge includes a kitchen, fireplace, showers, 10 bunk beds, bathroom facilities and seating for approximately 100 people. The three picnic pavilions seat between 50-100 people.

The Apple Cider Festival is the annual fundraiser held in October. For more information or reservations call the Park Office at 717-865-4938.
