The Planning Commission is an advisory committee comprised of five volunteer citizens who are appointed by the Board of Supervisors to serve a renewable five year term.  The function of this Commission is to review zoning ordinances, review proposals for subdivision and land development plans, re-zoning requests, and other business pertaining to the growth and development of the Township and recommends a course of action to the Township Supervisors.  The members are also responsible for creating a comprehensive plan to guide future development within the Township.  Their opinions are taken into consideration by the Board of Supervisors when official action must be taken to enact or amend ordinances, or approve land development plans.  Current members of the Planning Commission are:

The Planning Commission meets monthly, typically the third Thursday of each month.  Meetings are held at the township building. Meetings start at 7:30 pm.
